The pipes froze. That means no water. There is no way to unfreeze them. I have no idea how to fix this. 10 thirsty cows. Now this is interesting.

I am here all alone. Alfred is in Paris. There is no working phone and there is no way to drive up the dirt road because it is covered with ice. If I eat another vegetable I think I might die. I did manage to get the fire started so one room of the house is sufficiently heated. I really hope this does not get interesting. Hopefully tomorrow I will take and post some pictures of the farm.
